Seventh Avenue

Desde Alemania (cuna del power metal) llega esta banda fundada en 1989 Herbie Langhans en las voces, Florian Gottsleben en la guitarra, Markus Beck en el bajo y Mike Pfüger en la batería.

El grupo hace una mezcla de speed y power metal con toques melódicos, el grupo inicialmente lanzó un demo titulado First Strike en 1993 el cual llamó la atención por su calidad, fué en 1995 cuando editan su primer trabajo oficial "Rainbowland" con el cual firman con la disquera "Hunt Records" la banda fué muy exitosa en Japón llegándo a los primeros lugares en sus listas, posteriormente cambian su sello pod Treaure Hunts Records con quienes lanzan un disco y finalmente son apadrinados por "Masacre Records" con quienes trabajan en sus últimos discos.

En total el grupo lanzó 7 albums, cada uno superando a su antecesor por lo que la banda alcanzó un nivel grandioso en sus últimos trabajos.

La banda se separa posterior a su séptimo disco y años más tarde Herbie Langhans junto con algunos miembros de bandas de renombre en la escena secular inician el exitoso proyecto Sinbreed.

Sin duda esta banda es pionera en el power metal cristiano y sus trabajos son muy buenos, se nota la influencia de la escuela alemana de "powerful speed heavy metal" en su estilo.
